Akshay Kumar is an Indian actor as well as a television producer martial artist, and philanthropist. He has made himself one of the renowned and influential actors in Indian film. Akshay began his career in 1991 in the movie Saugandh. He first entered the spotlight after the film Khiladiand was later to become a star actor in the film Yeh Dillagi. The film Cuttputlli which starred Rakul Preet Singh received an overwhelming response from critics.
Akshay Kumar spent his early years in Delhi Then, he relocated to Mumbai together with his family. His primary education was at the Don Bosco School and completed his higher studies in Guru Nanak College in Mumbai. After earning a high-level black belt in Taekwondo during his time in India He then went to Bangkok to study martial arts. He resided in Thailand for five years, learning Thai Boxing. He also studied Muay Thai and worked as a waiter and chef.
Akshay Kumar made his debut in the 1991 Hindi film Saugandh. The next year Abbas Mustan’s suspense-thriller, Khiladi hits the box office and Akshay was widely praised for his dance performance. The actor then appeared in a variety of action movies like Khiladi Tu Anari like Mohra, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, and Sabse Bada Khiladi. He also made romantic films such as Dhadkan as well as Andaaz. In 2000, his film Pheri was released and became an instant hit. He was also a part-time actor on Yash Chopra’s Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) with co-stars Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit along with Karisma Kapoor. The film received acclaim from critics and was nominated for Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award.
His debut film came out as Airlift that was commercially and critically profitable, as was his second release Housefull 3 which was released on June 3rd, 2016. His performance was praised. On February 9 of 2018, he appeared in the social movie Pad Man with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The next film he will be in is the trilingual film 2.0 written by S. Shankar.
He was the son of an officer in the Army. At a very young age, Kumar was very interested in sports. He was raised in the city of Delhi’s Chandni Chowk and later he relocated to Mumbai after his father quit the Army to work as an accountant at UNICEF. Akshay Kumar has a sister as well, Alka Bhatia.
The year 2001 was the time that Akshay Kumar was married to Twinkle Khanna the her daughter from Rajesh Khanna and Dinple Kapadia. Twinkle was in movies such as Mela and Baadshah she is also her own author for two best-selling books The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad and The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad and MrsFunnyBones. Her book has sold more than one hundred thousand copies , and was the top-selling female writer in India in 2015.
