Anikha Surendran (born in India) is one of the Indian child actresses famous for her performance in the Malayalam as well as the Tamil movie industry. In 2010, she began her career as an actor in The Malayalam film Katha Thudarunnu. Anikha was able to make her Tamil debut in Gautam Vasudev Menon’s Yennai Arinthaal in the year 2015 along with Ajith Kumar. She was also awarded an award called the Kerala State Film Award for the Best Kid Artist for 2013 in her role as Sethulakshmi from Anchu Sundarikal. She was a key character for Ajith in his Viswasam Tamil film. She was the main character as lead actress in the Ghost film starring Akkineni Nagarjuna as the main character.
She started performing at just one-year-old acting in her first Mohanlal Starrer movie Chotta Mumbai. When she was in class 2 Anikha had a leading role in the cult movie Katha Thudarunnu produced by Sathyan Anthikad in the year 2010.
Later, she began to play in other big films such as Race, Bavuttiyude Namathil, 5 Sundarikal Nayana, Onnum Mindathe Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Onnum Mindathe, Bhaskar The Rascal The Great Father, and Bhaskar The Rascal The. Her fame was sparked when she played a smart and young kid in the hugely popular film Bhaskar The Rascal in 2015. She is a well-known face in the Malayali public and has been in important roles in the film.
Her acting debut was within the Tamil film industry and became famous with Gautam Vasudev Menon’s Yennai Arinthaal in the year 2015 along with Ajith Kumar. Then, she acted as a character in her first Tamil Black Comedy film Naanum Rowdydhaan. The year 2016 was the last time she had an important role in the bi-lingual Zombie Horror Comedy Romantic film Miruthan. She is currently starring in the movie Maa under the direction of Ondraga Entertainment Gautam Vasudev Menon.
