Anupama Parameswaran is an Indian actor who has appeared as a character actress in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films in Tamil and Malayalam languages. She is most famous for her first appearance on screen as Mary George in the Malayalam film Premam and also in the film Nithya for the film Sathamanam Bhavati. Then she had a cameo part as a character in James & Alice, a Malayalam film. Then she was in Telugu films in a variety of projects, including A A, Premam (Telugu). Her Tamil debut on Kodi in which she played the leading role alongside Dhanush. Her character in Karthikeya 2 received praise from the public as well as the critics. The news that she tested positive in the lab for Covid-19 was widely shared online. Anupama is part of Jayam Ravi’s Siren film.
She was a student at the CMS college Kottayam where she was a major in Communicative English. After graduation, she decided in order to focus on acting. Anupama was first seen in Premam along with Nivin Pauley. It was a commercial hit. The actress then was seen in Telugu films, including A Aa, The remake Premam in Telugu as well as Shatamanam Bhavati. She also was on her role in the Malayalam movie Jomonte Suvisheshangal.
