Remarkable results for the YCIS’s IGCSE Class HONG KONG, August. 19, 2022/PRNewswire Yew Chung International School of Hong Kong (YCIS Hong Kong) is delighted to share its remarkable achievements for this academic season’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) results. Despite the uncertainties posed by the pandemic outbreak, pupils from YCIS showed remarkable flexibility and resilience.
The School sends its sincere gratitude to the Year 11 students for Their IGCSE grades (June series 2022) The results were announced on the 18th of August. Several students earned the 10A’s (A* as well as A). Three students scored straight 10A*s in these elite students. Another 27 students scored at least 9 A* or A’s while others YCIS students also scored impressive outcomes during the IGCSE examinations.
Of the 148 students that took the test 87% of them received merit or distinction.
The exams that were that will be held in June and May 2022:
- 15 students scored 10-A’s (A* as well as A) with three students getting straight A*s.
- 27 students scored nine A’s (A* and A);

Established in 1932 by Madame Tsang-Chor-hang, Yew Chung has provided quality bilingual education for students in Hong Kong for 90 years. The initial focus was on Early Childhood Education, YCIS offers education from early the age of three to secondary and primary school and culminating with an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
