In a clip that is getting viral on social media in which an Uttar Police Constable stationed in Firozabad is shown carrying a plate of food while expressing his discontent over the quality of food that is served to him and co-workers.
In the video, you can see the police officer crying with tears because of the poor food and drink being provided as well as the warning that his top authorities have given him in the event that he speaks to the public to express his displeasure about the food quality which is provided to them.

“Captain sir does not want to listen to any sort of complaint of mine, and the RI (Reserve Inspector) claims that I will be suspended immediately,” Kumar said. UP Police Constable Complaint
The footage contains the words of the policeman Manoj Kumar who says “The food that is given to us is of the kind that only animals could eat, yet it is being provided to us. It’s a scheme coordinated by the Deputy chief of Police and the Senior Superintendent of Police. The food provided to police personnel by the individuals in question is not of good quality.”
The official further stated that, even though Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s assurance that the allowances given to police officers were to be increased by 30% to ensure the officers had quality meal. However, the food provided was not of the highest quality.
UP Police Constable Action Taken
The Senior Superintendent of Police Ashish Tiwari is aware of the issue and ordered an investigation to take place. In the words of the SSP the issue is being looked into, and the Circle officer (City) Abhishek Srivastava has been asked to look into the food quality of the mess.
The source also said that there were currently 15 accusations against the constable. Some of which involved absconding from duty or committing a crime as well as that the circle officer of the Police Lines, Hira Lal Kanaujia was charged with conducting an investigation into the incidents.
